Castanoa KOA to Scoles of Santa Cruz

Left kool KOA early and alone. Found the eating place about 10/12 miles down the road at Davenport. The other lads showed up eventually and we moved in as in inhabited the Davenport Cafe for hours. Lots of broccoli growing for the ten miles in both directions. Highway repave allowed exclusive use of right lane by the three of us for miles.

Soon found bike way along Santa Cruz waterfront bluffs; spectacular.

Rode up to Scoles place around four. Out to brew place and the boardwalk and then to sleep.
Truly lovely people, Gulla and Steve, and a welcome refuge from the open road.
